Kathleen Edwards

Emerging in 2003 from the Ottawa music with her debut CD "Failer," Kathleen now lives in Hamilton, Ontario and is currently touring her new CD "Back to Me." The title track of the same name has crossed over country and pop radio, and her folk-rock-country music is finding audiences across many genres and generations.

Ox (the band not the animal)

Check out the music of Ox from Vancouver, BC, Canada. From the head of lead cattleman Mark Browning, they describe themselves as:

"wilted, broken, skeletal... the incarnation of deconstructed pop & vintage indie... folk anti-hero mark browning's new voice, 'OX' is full of diesel and grit, spare of polish. the debut, DUSTBOWL REVIVAL is a collection of studio weary fragments, fragile masterpieces, sonic accidents... 'americana' at it's low-fi best."

Great website with lots of sound samples and even a forum where they have diners/donuts as a topic...
